Quick answer: Is MEDGm legit?
MEDGm is an identifiable U.S. telehealth platform with more public operational detail than many newer GLP-1 programs. Its Terms identify MEDGm, LLC as the platform operator, its public pages identify OpenLoop Health as the clinical network, and its Terms name four pharmacy partners: RedRock Pharmacy, Health Warehouse, Precision Medicine, and Triad Rx.
Those facts help verify who operates the platform, who provides clinical care, and which pharmacies may dispense prescriptions. They do not establish that a particular treatment is appropriate for an individual or guarantee service quality, medication availability, or outcomes.
The most important consumer issue we found is pricing structure. MEDGm’s lowest advertised monthly figures are tied to longer prepaid terms, while the month-to-month prices are higher after a first-month welcome discount. The Terms also state that multi-month plans are billed upfront and generally do not receive partial refunds after voluntary cancellation.
Our assessment: MEDGm is sufficiently transparent to compare as an operating telehealth program, but shoppers should distinguish the first-month price, the true month-to-month price, and the total prepaid bundle charge before enrolling.

How MEDGm says the program works
MEDGm’s public flow separates the commercial platform from the clinical decision-maker:
- The consumer completes an online medical questionnaire.
- An OpenLoop-affiliated licensed clinician reviews the case and determines whether treatment is appropriate.
- Additional history, laboratory work, or a synchronous visit may be required depending on the case or jurisdiction.
- If a prescription is issued, MEDGm coordinates fulfillment with an independent pharmacy partner.
- The program describes ongoing provider access, refill review, dose adjustments, portal messaging, and support.
MEDGm’s Terms say the company itself provides technology, administrative, payment, scheduling, and nonclinical support rather than practicing medicine. Prescribing decisions remain with the licensed provider.
That separation is a useful transparency point because consumers can distinguish the platform, clinician, and dispensing pharmacy instead of treating them as one entity.
What does MEDGm cost in 2026?
MEDGm now publishes full product-specific pricing on its compounded treatment pages. The key distinction is between first-month promotional pricing, regular month-to-month pricing, and prepaid multi-month effective rates.
Compounded semaglutide injection
| Plan | Current price | Billing structure |
|---|---|---|
| Month to month | $299/month | Current welcome offer lowers first month to $179 |
| 3 months | $597 total | $199/month equivalent |
| 6 months | $1,134 total | $189/month equivalent |
| 12 months | $2,028 total | $169/month equivalent |
Compounded tirzepatide injection
| Plan | Current price | Billing structure |
|---|---|---|
| Month to month | $399/month | Current welcome offer lowers first month to $279 |
| 3 months | $897 total | $299/month equivalent |
| 6 months | $1,734 total | $289/month equivalent |
| 12 months | $3,228 total | $269/month equivalent |
Compounded semaglutide tablets
| Plan | Current price | Billing structure |
|---|---|---|
| Month to month | $369/month | Current welcome offer lowers first month to $249 |
| 3 months | $957 total | $319/month equivalent |
| 6 months | $1,734 total | $289/month equivalent |
| 12 months | $2,868 total | $239/month equivalent |
The product pages state that the full multi-month amount is billed according to the selected supply term, and the Terms say the entire subscription term is billed upfront. That means the lowest monthly-equivalent figure is not the same thing as a month-to-month plan.
For the detailed billing analysis, see our MEDGm cost guide.
What appears to be included in compounded-plan pricing?
MEDGm’s current compounded product pages say the displayed program price includes:
- a licensed provider consultation;
- prescribed compounded medication when clinically appropriate;
- laboratory work and a metabolic report;
- standard medication shipping; and
- ongoing provider support and dose adjustments.
The Terms also say a clinician may require additional steps, including supplemental history, labs, or a synchronous visit, before enrollment is finalized. Because requirements can vary, confirm exactly what the checkout total covers for the selected state and treatment.
The product pages also say the price is the same at any dose for the displayed compounded plans. That is a useful disclosure, but the prescription, formulation, and dose still depend on the clinician’s judgment.
Brand-name options use a different pricing model
MEDGm’s main GLP-1 page separately lists:
- Zepbound: $99 membership plus medication cost;
- Wegovy: $99 membership plus medication cost; and
- Ozempic: $171 membership plus medication cost.
The main page does not publish the medication portion of those brand-name totals. Consumers comparing a compounded all-in program price with a brand-name route should therefore avoid treating the membership fee as the full treatment cost.
Medication availability can change, insurance or manufacturer programs may affect the final brand cost, and eligibility is determined by a licensed clinician.
What pharmacies does MEDGm use?
MEDGm’s Terms publicly name four pharmacy partners and provide contact details:
- RedRock Pharmacy in St. George, Utah;
- Health Warehouse in Florence, Kentucky;
- Precision Medicine in Bellmore, New York; and
- Triad Rx in Daphne, Alabama.
The Terms say the pharmacy partner is independently responsible for compounding, labeling, dispensing, and shipping the prescription and that a prescription may be transferred among partners when needed for availability, safety, pricing, or operational reasons consistent with law.
Before shipment, verify the pharmacy actually assigned to the prescription and whether it is authorized to serve the patient’s state. A list of potential partners does not tell a consumer which pharmacy will fill a specific prescription.
Compounded medication status
MEDGm offers compounded semaglutide, compounded tirzepatide, and compounded semaglutide tablets when a licensed clinician determines a compounded treatment is appropriate.
These compounded medications are not FDA-approved finished drug products. FDA says compounded drugs are not reviewed for safety, effectiveness, or quality before marketing in the same way as FDA-approved drugs, and telehealth companies should not describe compounded products as generic versions of approved drugs or imply that FDA approved the product or pharmacy.
Care Path Compare therefore does not transfer clinical-trial outcomes from Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound, or Mounjaro to MEDGm’s compounded products and does not describe the compounded products as FDA-approved equivalents.
Cancellation, renewal, and refunds
MEDGm’s current Terms and refund policy are unusually specific about the financial commitment.
The Terms say monthly and 3-, 6-, and 12-month plans automatically renew unless canceled. To avoid the next renewal charge, MEDGm requires cancellation at least 72 hours before the renewal date through the member portal or support email.
For voluntary cancellation:
- a monthly subscriber does not receive a refund for the current paid month;
- a prepaid 3-, 6-, or 12-month bundle generally does not receive a partial refund for unused future months; and
- service and remaining monthly medication shipments continue through the paid term, subject to required refill steps.
If a licensed clinician medically disqualifies a patient, the refund policy provides a different process. It says a full refund applies when disqualification occurs before the first medication shipment, while a pro-rata refund may apply to undelivered months after one or more shipments.
The Terms also state that subsequent billing or medication shipments may occur up to 10 days before the renewal date to reduce treatment gaps. That makes it worth checking the account’s exact renewal date rather than waiting until the last few days of a term.
Our broader GLP-1 cancellation and refund guide explains why canceling future renewal and qualifying for a refund on money already paid are separate questions.
Where is MEDGm available?
MEDGm’s public Terms say services are offered in all 50 states and Washington, D.C., while also warning that specific services or medications may not be available everywhere.
For the affiliate offer Care Path Compare is approved to promote, the authenticated Katalys program dashboard is narrower: it lists Louisiana as unavailable and states that patients under 19 in Nebraska are not eligible.
Because the offer-level restriction is more specific than the broad website statement, we use the narrower rule for affiliate routing and recommend confirming current state eligibility before paying.
MEDGm reviews and reputation
MEDGm is a relatively new program in the current affiliate marketplace, and we did not identify a sufficiently mature independent customer-review dataset to use as a reliable reputation signal in this review.
That does not imply positive or negative service quality. It means we would place more weight on verifiable operational facts for now: the legal entity, clinical network, pharmacies, written subscription terms, pricing, and state availability.
Provider-hosted testimonials and weight-loss examples are not treated as evidence of typical outcomes. MEDGm itself says individual results vary, and Care Path Compare does not use those testimonials to estimate what another patient may experience.
What we would verify before paying
Before choosing a MEDGm plan, confirm and save the following details from the final checkout screen:
- Exact treatment and formulation.
- Whether the price is a first-month promotion or recurring rate.
- Total charged today.
- Length of the prepaid term.
- Next renewal date and expected renewal amount.
- Whether the current welcome discount applies only once.
- Which pharmacy will dispense the prescription.
- Whether any additional lab or synchronous-visit requirement applies.
- Cancellation method and 72-hour cutoff.
- Refund treatment if treatment is discontinued before the prepaid term ends.
- Current eligibility in the patient’s state.
Keeping a copy of the checkout terms is reasonable consumer recordkeeping when committing to a prepaid multi-month plan.
Who may want to compare MEDGm?
MEDGm may be worth comparing for adults who are researching a clinician-supervised online GLP-1 program and value:
- publicly named clinical and pharmacy partners;
- a choice between injectable and oral compounded pathways;
- published month-to-month and multi-month pricing;
- one-price compounded plan framing; and
- a documented cancellation and refund policy.
It may be less attractive to shoppers who do not want to prepay several months for the lowest monthly-equivalent rate, who want a fully published brand-name medication total before intake, or who need a flexible partial-refund policy on prepaid bundles.
Bottom line
MEDGm has several transparency strengths: it identifies the platform operator, clinical network, pharmacy partners, product-specific prices, and cancellation rules. The main fine print is financial rather than hidden clinical structure.
The headline $169 compounded injection price is the effective monthly rate on a 12-month semaglutide plan billed $2,028 upfront, not the regular month-to-month price. The current semaglutide month-to-month price is $299, with a first-month welcome discount to $179. Tirzepatide and oral semaglutide follow a similar pattern.
That does not make the longer plans good or bad. It means the fair comparison is the total cash commitment, renewal terms, pharmacy, and product actually prescribed, not the smallest number on the page.
