Online Menopause & HRT Programs 2026: Compare Cost, Care, and Hormone Options

A source-based comparison of Alloy, Evernow, Gala Health, Hers, Hone Health, Midi Health, and Winona using the same consumer-focused criteria, with no treatment-quality ranking and affiliate relationships kept separate from inclusion and provider order.

Completing an online intake, laboratory test, or consultation does not guarantee eligibility, treatment, a prescription, a specific medication, or results. A licensed clinician must determine whether hormone therapy or another treatment may be appropriate.

Three providers in this neutral comparison currently have approved Care Path Compare affiliate destinations. These links do not affect provider inclusion, order, or editorial findings; the four non-affiliate providers remain in the same comparison below.

Facts checked September 21, 2026. Provider order is alphabetical, not a treatment ranking.

The biggest difference is the payment model

The seven programs do not charge for the same bundle of services.

That is why a single “starting at” number is not enough to compare these programs fairly. Before paying, write down the amount due today, the recurring charge, medication cost, lab cost, shipping cost, plan length, and cancellation point.

FDA-approved versus compounded hormone therapy

The word bioidentical is not a regulatory category. FDA says many products marketed as compounded “bioidentical hormones” are not FDA-approved, while FDA has also approved hormone products containing hormones that are identical to hormones made by the body.

For any program, ask for the exact product name, dosage form, manufacturer or compounding pharmacy when applicable, and prescription label. Do not assume that every product described as bioidentical has the same FDA status.

FDA also states that menopause hormone therapy has benefits and risks and is not appropriate for everyone. Eligibility and medication choice should be decided with a licensed healthcare professional, not from a comparison table.

Provider notes

Alloy

Alloy is a menopause-focused cash-pay program. Its current HRT page lists a one-time $49 doctor consultation and publishes product-specific prices for several estradiol options. It also describes menopause-trained physician review, home delivery, and ongoing messaging.

The main comparison question is total cost: the consultation fee and prescription price are separate commercial elements, and different hormone products carry different monthly prices.

Visit Alloy’s official HRT page.

Evernow

Evernow offers two distinct access models: pay-per-visit and membership. The current FAQ lists self-pay video visits at $150 and membership at $49 month-to-month, $129 for three months ($43/month), or $420 for twelve months ($35/month). It also says eligible video visits can use participating commercial insurance and many prescriptions can be sent to a local pharmacy for insurance processing.

Care Path Compare found a current availability conflict worth checking: Evernow’s main FAQ says care is available in all 50 states plus D.C., while a separate care-plan FAQ excludes Arkansas, Missouri, and West Virginia. Verify availability during intake.

Visit Evernow’s official menopause-care page.

Gala Health

Gala Health’s HRT pathway advertises menopause treatment from $69 per month and describes clinician review, medication when prescribed, ongoing care, and shipping. Gala says its listed estradiol and progesterone forms are FDA-approved bioidentical products.

Consumers should still verify the exact medication, dispensing pharmacy, total checkout price, and whether any laboratory testing is required before paying.

Hers

Hers uses a fully online intake and provider-review model. Its menopause materials list estradiol pill or patch, progesterone, and vaginal estradiol options when clinically appropriate, with medication delivery and ongoing online provider access.

Current Hers materials cite oral HRT from $79 per month and patches from $134 per month when using a 12-month plan. Those amounts should be read with the plan-length qualification, and Hers says the service is not available in all 50 states.

Visit the official Hers menopause page.

Hone Health

Hone’s women-specific pathway is the most lab-intensive model in this comparison. Current help content says the Premium pathway begins with a $65 comprehensive lab panel, followed by a physician consultation, then a $155 monthly membership. Medication is billed separately.

Hone also publishes both manufactured and compounded hormone products in its women-specific materials. The exact product and regulatory status therefore need to be verified at the prescription level rather than inferred from the word HRT.

Midi Health

Midi Health is structured more like an insurance-supported virtual specialty clinic than a bundled medication subscription. Its current pricing page lists a $250 first self-pay visit and $150 returning self-pay visit, while also stating that it is in-network with many major commercial insurance plans.

Midi says menopause care is available in all 50 states and that clinicians may use FDA-approved hormone therapy, non-hormonal prescriptions, targeted labs, and lifestyle support depending on the care plan. Medication and pharmacy costs should be evaluated separately from the visit fee.

Visit Midi Health’s official menopause page.

Winona

Winona uses a cash-pay model with product-specific prescription pricing rather than a separate membership charge. Its current catalog is particularly relevant for readers comparing oral and transdermal formats: it lists progesterone capsules from $39/month, estrogen tablets from $54/month, and an estrogen patch from $149/month, alongside several compounded cream options from $89/month.

Those are individual product prices, not a universal program total. Winona says physician review, ongoing messaging, and standard shipping are included. Its current HRT page distinguishes certain FDA-approved finished tablets, capsules, and patches from compounded creams, so the exact product should be verified rather than assigning one regulatory label to the whole program.

Questions to ask before choosing an online HRT program

  1. What will I be charged today?
  2. Is the price for a visit, membership, medication, or all three?
  3. Is laboratory testing required, optional, or included?
  4. What exact medication would be prescribed if I am eligible?
  5. Is that product FDA-approved or compounded?
  6. Which clinician will review my case, and are they licensed in my state?
  7. Which pharmacy will dispense the prescription?
  8. Can I use insurance for the visit or medication?
  9. What is the next recurring charge and renewal date?
  10. How do cancellation and already-paid medication or lab charges work?

How Care Path Compare handles affiliate relationships here

That difference does not affect inclusion, provider order, comparison criteria, or editorial findings. The page remains alphabetical and no provider receives a treatment-quality score.
